In this dvm360® interview, Fetch Charlotte faculty member Carolina Medina, DVM, DACVSMR, CVA, CVPP, highlights discrepancies between a former study that found the prevalence of canine osteoarthritis in older dogs, and one recently done for younger dogs.

Carolina Medina, DVM, DACVSMR, CVA, CVPP: Until recently, we haven't really had a lot of other studies or guidelines, but during the pandemic, NC [North Carolina] State University did a study looking at the prevalence of osteoarthritis in younger dogs. And that's what we'll be talking about this afternoon in the lecture, but that's going to be a lot higher of a number.
