This column deals with a fairly typical client concern, a rescued dog
that becomes fearful. In the first of this two-part series, I will focus
on the history and diagnosis. The second part will concentrate on treatment.
Dogs within the same household can become violent with each other. In
the case study explored this month, one dog is killed by another. The story
of these dogs illustrates the classic interdog aggression scenario and all
its misperceptions perfectly.
