Idea Exchange: Keep kinks out of IV lines

Leaving a tension loop in an intravenous line often causes a kink, which is frustrating when administering fluids. I cut a portion of the catheter's rigid plastic casing to provide a place to curve the IV line around, and it is small enough to be ignored by the patient. Simply tape this line in place to reduce the risk of a kinked line.
