Rotation skin flaps: Step 3B
Two suture lines remain to be placed: the shorter, straight suture line (recipient site of the flap) and the longer, curved suture line (donor site of the flap). You can place the short, straight suture line first and then place the longer, curved suture line. Alternatively, the order of closure can be reversed. The former technique is usually used. In the case shown here, the latter technique is used, beginning with Step 4.
