When placing a stirrup for a bandage, run the stirrup the full length of the bandage and leave extra at the top. Incorporate the top of the stirrup into the tertiary bandage layer. With this method of stirrup placement, the bandage will hang from the top, which decreases migration of the bandage down the limb.
