We use a biopsy punch when we resect stenotic nares. The biopsy instrument's diameter allows you to remove the correct amount of nasal tissue. And you can use the biopsy punch to determine the excision depth while the instrument temporarily restrains any hemorrhage that may obscure the viewing field.
