I would like to comment on the "Idea Exchange" item in your July issue titled "A bear essential for school groups." I recently
spoke to a group of second-graders and also showed a radiograph of a urolith. The questions that most of the class asked were
"How did it get in there?" "Did the dog swallow it?" "Did someone put it in there?" Not only will I never again bring a radiograph
of a urolith to a group of second-graders, I will also be sure never to bring a radiograph of a pregnant animal. I would not
want to try to explain how they got in there.
