At our rural clinic, the doctors perform a lot of tomcat neuters. Unfortunately, tomcats often empty their bladders during
recovery, leaving that tomcat smell to linger throughout the clinic. An easy remedy for us has been to place disposable diapers
on the cats during recovery. We make a small cut on one side of the diaper to slide the tail through and then apply the diaper
as we would to an infant. By the time the cat recovers and starts moving, it has emptied its bladder, and we simply throw
the diaper away in our outside Dumpster.
