Idea Exchange: Need to soak a paw? Bag it up
An easy way to soak patients' paws without making a mess.
We reuse empty intravenous bags when soaking paws. We fill a bag with chlorhexidine or iodine solution, put the patient's paw into the bag, and then tape the bag closed with Vetwrap (3M). The solution doesn't spill—even if the patient moves around.
