Letters: A practitioner's observation about renal agenesis

Regarding the article "Incidental finding of renal agenesis in a cat" (Clinical Exposures, June 2010), this condition may be a common finding in the Northeast. I have been in practice for only six years and have already spayed at least three cats that had the same finding. All had one kidney, one uterine horn and a cervix, and two ovaries.
