Debbie A. Martin, CPDT-KA, KPA CTP, LVT, VTS (Behavior): Cooperative care training [is] where you actually train [pets] to do things like lay in lateral recumbency or rest their chin on something so that you can draw blood from the jugular or trim their nails.
