David Dycus, DVM, MS, CCRP, DACVS-SA: Rather than thinking we need to just jump to radiographs to diagnose the issue and then we're stumped when the radiographs are normal; many of times it's slowing down and evaluating the joints and the feel of the joints as well as the muscle tension, and comparing the left side versus the right side. Then trying to get as much objective information as we can.
